this is a test really but what the hell: it's an acrylic lift of a bw photo with layers of acrylic medium and gold paint on a board that has been covered with silk paper. once I'd done it, i kept thinking of the Frankenstein movie with Michael Sarazan where he started off beautiful and then kind of fell to bits. the patterns on the silk paper remind me of the part of the movie where his veins started to show through his skin.
